Sleeping is one of the most important aspects in achieving optimal health and healing.
One of the worst feelings you can experience is getting up in the morning knowing you didn't receive a good night's rest.
Your sleeping habits directly affects your sleeping potential and rest. In this blog, we will discuss what are the top things you should consider when purchasing your perfect pillow.
Below are the top 5 things to consider when purchasing your perfect contour pillow
2. Contour design
4. Adjustable height
5. Washable cover
The pillow should be firm enough to support the neck and keep the head in alignment with the spine. However, it should not be so firm that it causes discomfort or restricts movement. In my opinion, the more firm the memory foam the better support for your neck. More firm is better than no firm.
2. Contour design
A contoured pillow is designed to provide support and alignment for the neck and head, which can help relieve pain and improve sleep quality. The best ones are with 2 contour designs (big hump and small hump which can accommodate different neck sizes).
The pillow should be made from high-quality materials that are comfortable, durable, and hypoallergenic. Some popular materials for cervical pillows include memory foam, latex, and buckwheat hulls. I personally like memory foam best.
4. Adjustable Height
Some contour cervical neck pillows may be adjustable in height, allowing you to customize the level of support and comfort for your individual needs. This is an added perk but not absolutely necessary.
5. Washable Cover
A washable cover can help keep the pillow clean and hygienic, which is important for people with allergies or respiratory issues.

This pillow was perfect for me. I have tried to adjust to sleeping on my back to prevent shoulder pain, but it was hard for me to feel completely comfortable in this position. I use this pillow with the higher elevation (even though I’m on my back), and it really helps me get comfortable for a good night’s sleep.
This pillow is supportive but maybe a bit too much... it's rather firm but I'm hoping it softens up with use.

I bought this after waking up with horrible neck pain that messed me up for a few days. I don’t roll around as much with this pillow because I feel more supportive and comfortable. I LOVE this pillow! Perfect for sleeping on your side or back.
I've slept on this pillow for the last 3 nights. Prior to receiving the pillow, and the reason I purchased this pillow, I was sleeping on a memory foam pillow that I've had for about 3 years. The prior pillow had gotten so soft that I've awakened with a sore neck for the past month. The new pillow: the first night didn't go very well - the additional firmness kept waking me up as I readjusted; however, my neck was less sore the next morning. The second night I woke up fewer times and, again, my neck was less sore. Last night was the third night using the new contoured memory foam pillow. My neck is still a little stiff, but not sore. I am hopeful! I have been using the shorter side because the higher side is too high for my shoulders and my head tips downhill when I lay on it. the shorter side supports my neck well and I am getting used to the additional firmness. I recommend trying this pillow for anyone suffering with a sore neck due to a too-soft pillow.

I was suffering from neck pain and dizziness so I decided to try this pillow to see if it would help. After a few nights, I can say that I feel so much better and no dizziness whatsoever. Cudos to the people behind this awesome pillow.
I’ve been waking up with headaches and neck pain and then my cat injured my neck by knocking a solid wood chair on it while I was sitting on the floor playing with my child. My neck couldn’t seem to get back to normal after that so I switched pillows and it started to heal and I think it’s the way the pillow can relieve pressure. It’s also so nice to not have to fluff up my pillow all the time, the memory foam keeps its shape. It’s a soft memory foam and not a rock. I didn’t want to switch to memory foam because normally I love a squishy cloud like pillow but of course they never stay this was for long. This pillow has been perfect! The only issue I had was the smell for a couple nights. I did open it hours in advance and even aired it out outside and I could still smell the chemically smell. Now that I’ve used it for a while there is no more smell.
Using a contour pillow while under upper cervical care allows can increase your energy levels, performance, and optimal well-being.
Upper cervical care is a strict disciple of chiropractic that focuses on the top part of your neck. It ensures the top bone in the neck (Atlas C1) is in the correct position and that the nervous system is functioning at its optimal level.
When this bone shifts out of position, it can compromise the nervous system and lead to a lot of different issues as the body is functioning at a sub-par level.
